The house was restored over two years with the original clay tile roof, plaster arcades and iron work retained and the systems taken back to the studs. Living rooms line the north loggia and face the mountain; the kitchen and family room open to a citrus grove watered by flood irrigation rights that convey with the property. A detached casita off the courtyard serves as a guest house or studio.
